Blowdown Tanks and Blowdown Separators are used in boiler rooms to cool down hot blowdown water coming out of steam boilers and cool it down to a temperature that is accepted by municipalities before entering drain lines. <\/p>

Although blowdown tanks are vented to atmosphere, they are still pressure vessels and do require CRN registration and to be fabricated according to ASME standards. <\/p>

All blowdown tanks and separators come with automatic cooling water valves that are activated based on the water temperature inside the vessel.<\/p>

We supply all types of blowdown tanks and separators with CRN for all Canadian provinces.<\/p>

We also provide blowdown heat recovery systems that are used to recover waste heat from blowdown water and use that heat to pre-heat boiler make-up water. <\/p>
